Ice Dogs Mushing Show at Snowfest

FREE family entertainment returns in 2021 with the NEW Ice Dogs Mushing Edutainment Show!

Taking place at Frankenmuth River Place Shops, the Ice Dogs show is an exciting mix of entertainment and education highlighting the bond between dogs and humans.

Each show will include demonstrations of multiple dog sled team sprints, weight pull and skijoring! The show’s finale is two teams with two dogs each, sprinting for the best out of 3 races to be declared the victor.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, January 29: 6 PM and 8 PM
Saturday, January 30: 1 PM, 3 PM and 5 PM
Sunday, January 31: 1 PM, 3 PM and 5 PM

All Ice Dogs activities take place on the east side of River Place Shops near the Cass River Bar and Grill. It is free to attend; public sled dog rides are not being offered as part of Ice Dogs.

Ice Dogs is presented by Classic K9s, and has been featured at Tip-Up Town USA in Houghton Lake and during Detroit Red Wings events. Don’t miss the Ice Dogs show, heating up Frankenmuth during the 2021 Snowfest weekend!

All events take place at River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. Parking is free and located around the German-styled shopping complex and along Weiss Street. With activities spread out on over 25 acres of Bavarian Inn property, there is plenty of space for guests and canines to enjoy themselves safely.

River Place Shops requires all guests to wear a mask to enter any enclosed spaces at the shopping complex or throughout Frankenmuth. We encourage all participants to social distance themselves from others outside of their household and stay home if they are sick or experiencing any symptoms related to the coronavirus.

Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the complex, along with both indoor and outdoor bathrooms.
