Scarecrow Fest - Dog Weekend

Celebrate fall in Michigan’s Little Bavaria during Scarecrow Fest, with a fun family-friendly festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and special scarecrow displays throughout downtown Frankenmuth!

Taking place across two weekends in October, Scarecrow Fest includes special fall-themed activities for everyone in the family.

Saturday and Sunday both weekends from noon – 6 pm, try your hand at the pumpkin catapult and see how far you can launch a pumpkin! Other fun fall-themed activities include pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, pumpkin painting, and riding Grandpa Tiny’s Barrel Train! Some activities have a small fee; there is no entry fee for the Scarecrow Fest event.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 on October 18-19 is set up to be a

On Sunday, October 19, the doggie costume contest is at 4:30 pm on the Fest Platz Stage.

Following the costume contest, there is a doggie pet trick-or-treating throughout the complex from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm

𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 25-26, with even more family fun!

A Kids Trick or Treating will be held on Sunday, October 26 throughout the complex from 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm starting at the Fest Platz – kids will be able to trick-or-treat from each store.
