Celebrate fall in Michigan’s Little Bavaria during Scarecrow Fest, with a fun family-friendly festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and special scarecrow displays throughout downtown Frankenmuth!
Taking place across two weekends in October, Scarecrow Fest includes both a Kids and Dog Weekend with special activities for everyone in the family.
Saturday and Sunday both weekends from noon – 6 pm, try your hand at the pumpkin catapult and see how far you can launch a pumpkin! You can also try your hand at pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and take a ride on Grandpa Tinyโs barrel train. Some activities include a small fee.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15, with the Rock N Roll K9s Performance Team putting on a total of 6 shows — 3 shows on Saturday and 3 shows on Sunday โ at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm in the Festival Platz area near the Cass River Bar and Grill.
On Sunday, October 15, the doggie costume contest will be held at 5:00 pm on the Fest Platz Stage. Pre-registration at Hello Cats & Dogs is required for the costume contest, you can sign up from 11 am to 4:30 pm that day.
Following the costume contest, there is a doggie trick or treating throughout the complex from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm – dogs who participate will receive dog treats from the stores!

There is a Kids Trick or Treating on Sunday, October 22 throughout the complex from 5:15 pm โ 5:45 pm starting at the Fest Platz โ kids will be able to trick-or-treat from each store.
